Theater in the Park: Rock of Ages

It’s the wild end of the 1980s in Hollywood, and the party’s still going strong. At one of the Sunset Strip’s last iconic venues, hairspray, lace, and liquor rule the scene, and rock god Stacee Jaxx commands the stage while eager groupies chase their dreams. In the middle of the chaos, Drew—an aspiring rocker stuck cleaning toilets—hopes to make it big and win the heart of Sherri, a small-town girl fresh off the bus from Kansas. But when German developers arrive with plans to turn the Strip into a corporate strip mall, the rock ’n’ roll dream is suddenly at risk.
