Rainbow Kitten Surprise

Rainbow Kitten Surprise defies genre, blending lyrical poetry, catchy melodies, and bold instrumental twists to create a sound that’s entirely their own. With over 2 billion global streams, the band first built a dedicated following through their independent releases SEVEN + MARY and RKS.

In May 2024, they returned with LOVE HATE MUSIC BOX, their first album in six years. Produced by Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves), Konrad Snyder (Noah Kahan), and lead vocalist Ela Melo, it’s their most personal project yet—earning praise from Billboard, Consequence, Paste, and more.

This release follows their major-label debut HOW TO: FRIEND, LOVE, FREEFALL (2018), produced by Grammy-winner Jay Joyce and featuring the RIAA Platinum-certified single “It’s Called: Freefall.” The album drew acclaim from TIME, NPR, and Vice, and led to national TV performances on CBS Saturday Morning, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Austin City Limits.

After appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Osheaga, RKS sold 80,000 tickets on their sold-out Friend, Love, Freefall Tour—solidifying their place as one of today’s most electrifying live acts.
