Born in Cologne, Germany, Ottmar Liebert began playing guitar at age 11. After journeying through Asia and playing with local musicians, he settled in Santa Fe, New Mexico — a fresh start that shaped his musical style: a mix of Spanish, Mexican, and World elements, with strong melodies tinged with a shade of melancholy, balanced with upbeat rhythms.
